5 Mins read

We’re back with the final part of our series on Walking with God. Are you ready for this? Enjoy the episode! There are numerous benefits in walking with God. In the kingdom of light, for every obedience to kingdom principles, there are surely many blessings and benefits that accompanies it. Therefore, for walking with God too, there are benefits attached to the principle. One of the undeniable benefit of communion with God is the revelation of the person of God Himself. Far beyond what we see and hear in church services, there is so much more about God! Being a child of God is beyond attending church meetings and being committed church members, it is a call unto knowing God, finding out what He desires and living on His terms alone. In the course of consistently fellowshipping with God, we get to know Him better and understands His ways. A man of God once said “Your level of Christianity is determined by the revelation of God you have accessed and experienced”.

In the same vein, revelations that can be gotten and enjoyed in intimacy with God is not limited to the knowledge of Him but rather, it streams into all other areas of importance in a believer’s life. Revelations about the future, personal messages and relevant information for the future, life secrets, secrets and codes of nations are all goodies enjoyed by men of the secret place. The secret place is also the mining and the refining center of a man’s purpose. You find purpose, learn about purpose, receive directions on the modules operandi about how to go about fulfilling purpose and destiny in the place of communion with God. A life without purpose fulfillment of any sort is a wasteful life. God created us for His divine purpose, we all have a reason for coming into the world which is clearly embedded in the heart of God, only those that come to the knowledge of what purpose fulfillment is, do run for it and labour until they make an impact in their world before nightfall.

A life without purpose fulfillment of any sort is a wasteful life.

All believers have been saved to serve, that is they have been called out not just to enjoy the provisions of salvation and eternal life but to work with it so as to bring others to the knowledge of God, this is what we call ministry! All believers have been called to the ministry of reconciliation, which is mainly to reconcile others to God through various mediums and God ordained means. It is the truth that not all believers will one day pastor a church or stand in front of the congregation to minister, but God in His dynamic and unsearchable ways designed the model of service of each believer in a way that whatever He reveals to each person as personal ministries or service it all leads to the central point of edifying the body of Christ, bringing lives back to God and bringing glory to His Holy name.

Therefore, in achieving this, it is necessary to be equipped and be endowed with the power of the Holy Spirit. How do we get anointed to fulfill destiny and do exploits for God? most believers believe it is mainly when a man of God prays for them or lay hands on them for impartation that they get equipped for God. Though this is true to an extent, it is just one of the means God anoints His people but it is not the major means. The major virtues and anointing upon any minister of God or believer is gotten from the secret place, the place of intimacy and consistent fellowship with God. This is because it is the true anointing that can last. It can be worked upon and well maintained because of the strong affiliation with the secret place.

Another notable benefit enjoyed by God-seeking believers is that they carry distinct measures of God’s presence. Wherever they are seen, unquantifiable and notable measure of God’s presence is always evident due to their faithfulness to their secret place. Lastly in this line, they record success in all ramifications of their lives for God do answer them out rightly. Truly, the mighty deeds and stunning fireworks of the Lord belongs to men of the secret place.

Moreover, as believers it is essential to build a hunger and an unquenchable thirst for God. This is the secret behind many successful stories of men of God and other numerous Christ-born achievers in the world of then and now. Becoming successful and excelling in life does not start with hard labour and striving to make it daily. It starts from the point of acknowledgement of the person of God and the understanding that it is Him that maketh rich and gives power to make wealth. When you seek God, He not only answer for your needs but He empowers you to become a problem solver to others thereby making you valuable and needed at any given time. Seeking God diligently is a necessary condition for finding God and making Him readily available to one’s business in any place at any given time. There is also a need to dwell richly in study of the word of God. If we truly love Him, then reading His word shouldn’t be too much for us to do. The best way to learn of Him is through constant study of the bible and doing as He so commands.

Conclusively, the tangible benefits of walking with God were also analyzed and explained to show that for every believer that give in to this old-time principle of heroes of faith, there will surely be undeniable proofs for it. Men have walked, several believers though few compared to others who are ignorant of this principle are walking in intimacy with God and experiencing the Eden-like communion with God while on this same earth with other people. Walking with God is a personal and conscious decision that every believer needs to make so as to enjoy the full salvation package as delivered by Our loving savior and priest Jesus Christ. Building a consistent hunger and thirst for God was also slightly identified and discussed so as to serve as an antidote for short-term-like communion with God. The word of God is a sure foundational and solid food to eat so as to grow up spiritually into a mature stature of Christ. Walking with God is the key to successful and fulfilling living in this world and securing a reward-filled eternal home with Jesus Christ our Lord. I wish you a Christ-filled stay in the world.
